Atanas Kremenliev

ATANAS KREMENLIEV (1934–2021) was born in the village of Kashina, Sandanski municipality. He graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy and History at Sofia University. He has worked for the country's security forces for twenty-nine years, 25 of them in foreign intelligence. He was undercover in foreign missions for twelve years. For seven years he was vice-president of the Reserve Intelligence Association. He is a member of the Macedonian Scientific Institute in Sofia. He is the author of seven books: "The Kremenliev family", "Insights into the village of Kashina", "From the labyrinths of Bulgarian intelligence", "Tasko Voivoda", "Melnik".
