The director's notebooks of a thirty-five-year-old man
Actor and director Boyko Nenov Iliev was born on July 29, 1955 in Sofia. He was admitted to the VITIZ “Krastyo Sarafov” in 1978, majoring in “Acting” in the class of Prof. Nadezhda Seikova. He graduated in 1982 and was sent on assignment to the Shumen Theater, where he worked as an actor and director. From 1984 to 1989, he was an actor and director at the Pazardzhik Theater. In 1989, he created the first private theater in our country – the “Dialogue” Theater, of which he was the director and director. In the period 1989–1991, he specialized in “Theatre Directing” at the VITIZ “Krastyo Sarafov” with Prof. Grisha Ostrovsky. In 1991 is a director in Montana, in 1996 – director in Pazardzhik, 2000 – director at the Nikolay Binev Youth Theater in Sofia. Since 2006, he has been a freelance director. He created the Euro Dialogue Production House. He has staged performances in almost all Bulgarian theaters, including the Ivan Vazov National Theater, the National Opera and Ballet, the Stefan Makedonski National Music Theater, the Bulgarian Army Theater, the Sofia Theater, the Zad Kanala MGT, the Aleko Konstantinov Satirical Theater, the 199 Theater, and the Kr. Sarafov National Theater of Dramatic Arts. In 2014–2024, he created and directed the New Theater – NDK. In 2005, he graduated from the NBU “Film and Television Directing”. His productions have toured many countries in Europe and America. He is a screenwriter and producer of many documentary and feature films. He has participated as an actor in more than 15 Bulgarian feature films directed by Ivan Nichev, Grisha Ostrovsky, Ivan Andonov, etc. He is the author of a number of feature-length documentary film series, and is a producer and director in documentary and feature films. |
