"More Mathematics for Grade 6" is a teaching aid, consistent with the curriculum and content of the mathematics textbooks approved by the Ministry of Education and Science for this grade. It is structured in 11 sections, which allow year-round work to comprehend, consolidate and expand the knowledge and skills of sixth-graders in mathematics.
Each of the first 9 sections contains exercise tasks, distributed by topic, sample tests in two versions and tasks for the curious. The order of the topics corresponds to the curriculum, and the tasks in them are arranged by degree of difficulty.
The tests can be used both for control and self-control, and for training specific knowledge, skills and habits in students. Achieving eight correct answers in 30 minutes would be a good result.
Tasks for the Curious include interesting, curious and competitive tasks. Some of them are of increased difficulty. No special additional knowledge is required to solve them. Intuition, resourcefulness and most importantly – insight into the problem and the desire to solve it are enough. The tenth section is for annual review, and in section 11. you will find sample tests for the starting level in mathematics for the 6th grade.
The answers to the tasks and questions from all the tests, as well as a short reference guide, can be found at the end of the book.
The manual can be used both in compulsory preparation classes and in additional classes and various forms of extracurricular work.
